Di tích Triền Tranh trong hệ thống di tích văn hóa Champa ở Quảng Nam

Di tích Triền Tranh, văn hóa ChampaTóm tắt
The Triền Tranh site is part of a complex of architectural ruins located in the Chiêm Sơn Tây valley in Duy Xuyên district, Quảng Nam province. Discoveries made since the 1990s, particularly during the 2015 excavation by the Institue of Archaeology, which explored 3,000m² of a total site area of 15,000m², have revealed extensive architectural remains from three overlapping phases, dating from the 8th to the 13th centuries. The Triền Tranh site is large in scale, having emerged and existed over a long period and undergone multiple phases of construction and renovation. Located near the Trà Kiệu capital and the Mỹ Sơn sanctuary, it features, in addition to the main temple towers, numerous three bay-tiled buildings that differ markedly from the typical temple architecture dedicated to deities. This suggests that, besides serving as a place of Hindu worship, similar to other known Cham temple complexes in Central Vietnam, Triền Tranh may have also functioned as a monastic center for religious practitioners. Research findings indicated that although Triền Tranh is only a single ruin among many in Quảng Nam-a region dense with large-scale Cham cultural sites such as Mỹ Sơn, Trà Kiệu, Đồng Dương, Khương Mỹ, Chiên Đàn, and Bằng An-the archaeological discoveries at the site have made significant contributions to the understanding of Cham archaeology and history.Lượt tải xuống
